Title: Re: Speedscrap - 9/11/2010
Post by: Lisa J on September 11, 2010, 10:03:54 pm
I promise I did start the challenge with Sarah, I got the solid paper and the patterned paper, then when I went to select my picture, I got all sidetracked doing a page from Emily's (my youngest daughter) and her BFF Holly's baptism day!  It was such a special day and I totally got CARRIED away!  But I was working on it during the challenge time, so I am hoping to get 1/2 a point for that!

Thanks for the great challenge Sarah!  Awesome as always!

<3 Lisa J.

and don't forget to make a memory today!

Sarah, I copied the BB code from under my photo in the gallery, then pasted it into the reply here in this thread. Hope this helps.

Oh well go to your picture and right click on it to copy the image location (found under properties maybe). Then come back here and click the little picture icon (under the 'bold' button) and paste your link in between the code that pops up.

Post a reply like you normally would, but at the bottom it says "additional options" .....attaching a photo is easy from that point.  Let me know if you still have trouble.  PS It has to be pretty small in forums....so make sure you save it as the smallest choice.

I'm not sure what you meant by cluster... but anyway, i didn't do anything else (even though I wanted to!) because I thought it would be against the rules! So here is my LO

And when I uploaded my page, it made a new thread for it but I didn't mean that to happen!

Anyway, thanks for the speed scrap, it was fun!!!!

This is the part where we take ten minutes to refine our pages!!

1# Choose a solid background
2# Add a patterned paper along one side of the page - Have it cover about 1/3 of the page.
3# Add a ribbon as a border between the two papers.
4# Choose one picture and place it on the solid side of your page.
5# Choose and add a frame around the picture
6# Add a cluster to your page
7# Title and date

Add your page to the gallery and post the image link here.  Hopefully all goes smoothly with the gallery.

Oh good -- I love speed scraps, but doing a direction every ten minutes eats a whole hour.  I'd rather play fast and possible get more done!

Fun - My kids love trains -- We rarely surprise them with it cuz we don't have our table anymore.  We had one when they were littler.
